Homecoming football game crowns King, Queen, ends 56-59 in overtime

Click the above photo to start a slideshow of Prosper’s recent football loss against Little Elm. The varsity team lost 59-56 in overtime at their first district and homecoming game on Sept. 24. The Prosper Eagles will play again this Friday, Oct. 1, against the Denton Guyer Wildcats for their second district game. Here’s a few more details for the fans:

Neena Sidhu, Chief Operating Officer

Neena Sidhu is a senior at Prosper High School and is the Chief Operating Officer for Eagle Nation Online. Before she moved to Prosper in 2018, she lived in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania and lived there her whole life. This is her third year on staff and is also involved in the Football Operations Department.

Kaya Miller, Co-Editor-in-Chief

Kaya Miller, originally from Los Angeles, California, moved to Prosper, Texas in 2017. She attends Prosper High School as a senior. This is her third year on staff, and she is co-editor-in-chief of Eagle Nation Online and editor-in-chief of the print newspaper Eagle Nation Times. Miller is on the Prosper debate team as historian. She is also president of the Spanish Honor Society. Miller is also on the Dallas Rowing Club Juniors team. In her free time, she enjoys baking and playing guitar.

Sofia Ayala, Assistant Print Editor

Sofia Ayala is a junior at Prosper High School. This is her third year working for Eagle Nation Online. She currently serves as Assistant Editor for Eagle Nation Times, and served as the Feature editor in the past. Sofia is part of the varsity PHS Talonettes where she enjoys to work together with her team. Outside of school, she enjoys going out on runs, reading, and listening to music.
