School celebrates Homecoming week

Upcoming

  • Varsity girls tennis will play Allen High School home Tuesday, Sept. 21 at 4:30 p.m.
  • FFA will compete in the “Ag Olympics” Tuesday, Sept. 21 from 6:30 – 7:30 p.m.
  • Varsity volleyball will play Allen away Tuesday, Sept. 21 at 6:30 p.m.
  • The Homecoming parade will occur Wednesday, Sept. 22.
  • Varsity girls swim and dive will compete in the Frisco ISD Invitational Thursday, Sept. 23 at 6 a.m.
  • The Homecoming pep rally will occur Friday, Sept. 24.
  • Varsity volleyball will play McKinney Friday, Sept. 24 from 5:30-6:30 p.m.
  • The Homecoming varsity football game will occur Friday, Sept. 24 as the team will play against Little Elm home at 7 p.m.
  • Varsity girls cross country will run in the McNeil Hoka Invitational Saturday, Sept. 25 at 8 a.m.
  • Varsity girls swim and dive will compete in the Frisco ISD Invitational Saturday, Sept. 25 at 6 a.m.
  • The Homecoming dance will occur Saturday, Sept. 25 in the cafeteria from 8-11 p.m.

  • Monday, Sept. 20: Athletic Gear and Jerseys
  • Tuesday, Sept. 21: Space-Themes or Western Attire
  • Wednesday, Sept. 22: Neon and 80s Attire
  • Thursday, Sept. 23: Twin with a Friend or Group
  • Friday, Sept. 24: Wear Green with Mums/Garters

Uplifting

  • The Prosper Wind Ensemble was one of eight bands in the nation to receive the designation of “National Wind Band Award Winner” and one of seven bands in the nation to receive the designation of “New Music National Wind Band Winner.” The Prosper Wind Ensemble is the only band in the nation to win both awards.
  • The Prosper Symphonic Band also was one of five bands in the nation to receive the designation of “Citation of Excellence Award Winner.”
