Junior Lauren Helbling prepares flowers for the Prosper Future Farmers of America plant sale. The sale is from 4 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. Friday, April 9, and 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, April 10. Only cash or checks are accepted, and all proceeds will benefit the FFA program.

Upcoming

  • The boys and girls wrestling teams will compete in the District 6-6A Championship at Allen High School April 9-10.
  • The FFA 2021 annual plant sale is April 9-10 at the Prosper High School greenhouse. Only cash or checks will be accepted.
  • Girls lacrosse will play against Bishop Lynch at home April 10.
  • The baseball team will play against Denton Braswell at home April 13.
  • Girls lacrosse plays Ursuline away April 13.
  • The track team will compete in the area meet at Coppell High School April 15-16.
  • Baseball will play Denton Braswell away April 16.
  • Softball plays Denton Braswell away April 16.
  • Boys wrestling will compete in the Region 6-6A Championship at Allen High School April 16.

Uplifting

  • Sophomore Giovanni Spampinato won a $1,000 scholarship from the Prosper Economic Development Commission and 7-Eleven for artwork he created during his graphic design class. Senior Mark Chrissan and Junior John “Riley” Miller will receive $100 runner-up prizes for their submissions. The award ceremony will be held Friday, April 9, at the 7-Eleven off of Frontier Rd. The company will also donate $500 to the CTE graphic design program.
