Arms extended in the air, the Eagles varsity Rocket league team celebrates their state finals win, taking the title of Undisputed 2023 State Champions. The team has been working toward this all year long, competing in repetitive competitions to sharpen their skills. The eagles also took 2nd place at National Finals the same day against the Detroit Rocket league team, getting the runner-up prize of $2,500.

During a drill, sophomore Evan Bish blocks No. 56 sophomore Zach Barnhouse. Bish plays as a defensive end and Barnhouse plays as an offensive lineman. Spring ball is a time where we dont really have junior varsity or varsity, Bish said. We basically just work on getting stronger as players.

With crowds waiting to be let in to the stadium, Texas Rangers fans gather for opening day April 6. Stadium requirements list masks as optional, and while all seats were sold out, not all of them were filled. The Rangers played the Toronto Blue Jays and lost 2-6.
