“I think Meet the Eagles spring sports is a great way to showcase our spring sports,” head track and cross country coach Jennifer Gegogeine said. “I am looking forward to having the seniors introduced, as they have dedicated four years into this sport.”

Senior and varsity soccer player Buddy Edwards said he thinks it is cool that Prosper will now hold a spring Meet the Eagles.

“Spring sports, such as soccer, don’t get very much recognition,” Edwards said. “It’s nice to have a night that we are all introduced and recognized in front of everyone.”

Head football coach, and organizer of the event, Brandon Schmidt said all student athletes put in so much time and energy in order to compete at the highest level to represent the school and community well.

“It is important that we take the time to recognize all of our student athletes, both fall and spring, for all of the hard work that they do,” Schmidt said.  “It will be an awesome night and I look forward to seeing our coaches and athletes recognized for all that they do.”
