Im very excited for this season, Rosar said. We have a whole bunch of weapons in the offense, a whole bunch of guys to replace on the defense, but Im sure our guys will step up and fill those roles.

Spring Meet the Eagles will be held 6 p.m. Feb. 3 in the high school arena. The event will honor spring athletes in baseball, wrestling, track, powerlifting, softball, basketball, golf and soccer. The Mighty Eagle Band, Talonettes and the cheer team also will give performances. It is important that we take the time to recognize all of our student athletes, both fall and spring, for all of the hard work that they do, Head football coach Brandon Schmidt said.  It will be an awesome night and I look forward to seeing our coaches and athletes recognized for all that they do.

Ending with a hands-in-the-air flare, the Talonnettes close their first performance of the year. Led by Captain Zoe Dale, the drill team works daily to perfect their routines, which are performed at several different events through the course of the year. Its really exciting, in the situation that we are in that we get to perform despite the Covid-19 virus, Dale said. I think being able to have events like Meet The Eagles tonight is really exciting for Prosper as a whole.
