Meet the Eagles kicks off sports, brings community together

“Meet the Eagles,” an annual event to kick off fall sports, took place Saturday, Sept. 19, at the district’s Children’s Health Stadium.  Due to the changes that the University Interscholastic League has made to fall sports schedules, the event took place a little later in the year than normal.  Admission was free, and socially distanced students, fans and community members attended.

This was the first time that Meet the Eagles had taken place under PISD’s new superintendent Holly Ferguson. “‘Meet the Eagles’ is a long-standing tradition in Prosper ISD that brings such pride to me,” Ferguson said. “The entire event is designed around our students and making them know how valued and how important they are to us all.  I love seeing our school community coming together to celebrate and uplift our students at this annual event.  GO, Eagles!”
