As the team gathers before the meet, head swim coach Trey Sullivan gives his team last-minute advice. The team competed against Rock Hill and McKinney at 7 p.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 2. Prosper's diving team, originally scheduled to compete at 6 p.m., had to postpone due to members being quarantined for potential COVID-19 exposure.

Gathered at the ends of their lanes, swimmers await warm-up instructions from their coach. Warm ups began at 6 p.m., and the meet started at 7 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 21. Prosper competed against Plano West High School at the meet, losing to the Plano West girls team by three points, and their boys team by 27.

Nearing her first flip-turn in the 50-yard freestyle race, senior Hannah Schulze takes a quick breath before heading under. This is Schulzes fourth year on the varsity swim team, and her second year being elected one of the few team captains.

Following his 50-yard freestyle race, junior Lane White receives feedback from head coach Trey Sullivan. White placed first in the 50-yard boys freestyle event. He was yelling at me because I breathed every stroke, White said. I still won, but he said I couldve gone way faster.
