About to land, senior Nathan Tenbarge competes in the long jump event. Tenbarge played quarterback for the football team during track off-season. He placed sixth in his event.

Track takes runner-up in district, advances to area meet

As he prepares for the game, senior Caden Berg helps out teammate junior Lucas Tauzin with his captain arm band. This is the first playoff game of the season. This season has been very different to other seasons through out mentality and chemistry. Our team comes in to every game fired up and ready to go, Berg said. Last season we came into playoffs thinking we won something already and ended up losing, This season we knew what we had to do and we went out there and did it.

Boy’s soccer team wins first playoff game, advances to next round

Shaking hands with the diving coach, sophomore Pierce McHam received the Best Diver Award. Some teammates recieved awards for their performance throughout the year as a player and as a teammate. The banquet took place in the community room at Childrens Health Stadium.

Swim and Dive team celebrates end – of – season banquet

Stick extended junior David Androes hustles back on defense. Androes was awarded the WE award after the game. This award is given out to one player after each game, and represents the hard work put in by players and coaches to show the values of Prosper lacrosse.

Column: Senior reflects on moments with girls powerlifting team

Click the photo above to start an entire slideshow with captions full of information about moments from the first scrimmage for the team on Sept. 23. The next match-up for the team is another scrimmage. This one will be at home, today, Sept. 30 at 5:30 p.m. against Plano.

The overall season record of last year was 12-1 with a Prosper lead before the season was cut short due to COVID-19.

What’s next: The Eagles will play in a scrimmage against Plano High School at 5:30 p.m. Sept. 30. Their official season begins in the spring of 2021.

Emily Reish resides in Prosper with her parents and her eigth-grade brother. As a senior, this is her second year as a staff member for the online newspaper. Emily discovered her love for photography while taking pictures of her younger brother's baseball team. She is passionate about archery, being with the people she loves, and going to any baseball game she can go to. She has received third-place in district and been recognized as a region qualifier in wrestling her freshman year. She also went to state twice for archery, in addition to going to Grand Nationals with the Prosper Mighty Eagle Band her freshman and sophmore year. This year she hopes to win during photography and podcast contests. Emily's goal is to get as many guests on her podcast as possible during her final year as an eagle. She enjoys going to work and spending most of her time with her friends on the weekends, as well as being a supporter at her friends sporting events. We are Prosper. We are One.
