- The PISD school board meeting took place Aug. 24.
- Three cases of COVID-19 are confirmed at Prosper High School
- To notify the nurse of COVID-19 symptoms or exposure, Prosper high school students and staff should fill out the google form
- Although the Aug. 29 SAT test was cancelled, the school is now offering all seniors a free SAT test Oct. 14. Virtual learners and in-person students must take the test on campus. To sign up, parents must log into Skyward and complete the registration form by Sept. 2
- Senior varsity football quarterback Jackson Berry is one of the area’s players that is nominated for Dallas/Fort Worth preseason quarterback of the year in a VYPE fan poll
- For online learning students, the new virtual counseling office will help them to meet with their counselors, submit anonymous tips, access college and career information and request transcripts
- Principal Dr. John Burdett has announced that students must wear their face masks or face coverings over their mouth and nose unless they are eating or drinking in the cafeteria. Students who do not comply will be sent home for a minimum of three days

- Model UN sign up deadline is Aug. 31. To register, PHS and RHHS students can fill out their respective google forms at the Model UN website
- The first professional learning day/student holiday of the school year is Sept. 4
- By appointment only, virtual learners can take their life touch photos through the arena entrance of the school on Aug. 29. Parents will not be permitted inside
