Hands in the air, the Prosper High School baseball team celebrates their win as district champions. The team won 2-0 against the McKinney lions. The team will play against Coppell High School on May 2.

Baseball secures district title

As the ball rolls toward his glove, senior Cole Giametta warms up for the game against Allen High School. The Prosper Eagles won the first game on Tuesday April 16. The game took place at Prosper High School at 7:30 p.m.

Baseball takes first district loss, 0-1

Eyes on the ball, freshman Samantha Tovar tries to block out the opponent. The Eagles end the season and make school history as they achieved their 1-0 win against Westlake during state finals. Along with this win, the Eagles are ranked no. 1 in state.

About to land, senior Nathan Tenbarge competes in the long jump event. Tenbarge played quarterback for the football team during track off-season. He placed sixth in his event.

Track takes runner-up in district, advances to area meet

As he prepares for the game, senior Caden Berg helps out teammate junior Lucas Tauzin with his captain arm band. This is the first playoff game of the season. This season has been very different to other seasons through out mentality and chemistry. Our team comes in to every game fired up and ready to go, Berg said. Last season we came into playoffs thinking we won something already and ended up losing, This season we knew what we had to do and we went out there and did it.

Boy’s soccer team wins first playoff game, advances to next round

Shaking hands with the diving coach, sophomore Pierce McHam received the Best Diver Award. Some teammates recieved awards for their performance throughout the year as a player and as a teammate. The banquet took place in the community room at Childrens Health Stadium.

Swim and Dive team celebrates end – of – season banquet

Glove face-front, senior Aiden White eyes home plate waiting to start the play. White played as a starting pitcher for the first game against Rock Hill. The matchup occurred at Rock Hill High School on Tuesday, March 21 at 7:30 p.m.

Prosper is going up against a tough opponent. Rockwall ranks ahead of Prosper in Texas and National standings. This is because of Rockwall’s powerful offense. In their previous game, when they went against Allen, they outscored them 60-59.

It is obvious that Prosper needs to focus on the Jacket’s offense to stop Rockwall. Unfortunately, last year, Prosper was knocked out of the playoffs by Longview – in the same venue that they will be playing on Saturday.
