Eagle Brief Nov. 11 – Nov. 16

Christi Norris

Members of the Dallas community have set up dates to help out the tornado-hit communities and have issued many non-profitable organizations that aid in the clean up needed. On Friday Nov. 2, members of the local Church of Jesus Christ, including Prosper students, went to help clear debris. “Serving together not only unites the people you work with but is also a great way to humble yourself and help others,” volunteer and junior Rylie Withers said. In addition to efforts like those pictured, Prosper students donated more than $700 in funds to donate to Thomas Jefferson High School, which took a hit from one of the tornado incidents that hit North Texas Oct. 24.
