USA pep rally sets tone for school spirit

As students stand shoulder to shoulder, the senior section lifts their voices as they sing the alma mater. The pep rally took place during advisory period. This was the first pep rally of the year, allowing for every grade to come together and celebrate our school and our country.

Senior Victoria Byers leads social media posts for Instagram, X (formally known as ‘Twitter’) and Facebook.  This is her second year as a staff member, and she normally reports football games as a Mighty Eagle Band member. As she continues to find more and more creative tasks, clubs and electives, she gets to finalize and lead in band, two clubs, along with joining three new organizations.

This is sophomore Mercy Adebiyi’s first year on staff as a Graphic Designer. She was born in Nigeria but she moved to Texas around 2023. She enjoys reading, dancing and playing tennis, and she is excited to start creating for the newspaper.
