Staff showcases spring break activities

Students, writers prepare for last quarter before summer

With her hands out, freshman Polly Greaves holds a baby American Alligator. Greaves and her family visited Gator Beach in Destin, Florida, for spring break. "The best part was being able to spend time with my siblings on the beach," Greaves said. "They needed this break as much as I did, and their excitement made this experience a highlight of 2025."

Grouped together on the grass, seniors Celo Dishong and Ellie York come together for a photo. The unified team is led by Coach Wright. "My favorite thing about the Unified Track is the competition and how everyone gets hyped about it," York said. "We get to bond more with the kids, from just partners, you're kind of helping them, but this you get to participate too, and it's just a fun environment."

Freshman Polly Greaves renovated this graphic for their new episode on Canva. The book they read this episode is "Five Survive" by Holly Jackson. "Me and Heather Davis have advisory together, therefore, while I was reading this book, I got to look over at her now and then, and ask, 'why do you like this book so much?'" said Greaves. "And she just looked back at me like I was a complete weirdo and, you know, that just made my day."

Varsity boys soccer takes home win 3–1 against Princeton
At the bat, senior Kaden Robardey prepares to hit the baseball. Robardey plays outfield and is No. 4 on the team. His pre-game ritual is chewing green or white gum, and his favorite athlete is Bryce Harper. The varsity team will play against Quinton Creek this Thursday, Feb. 27, at the Prosper High School Baseball field. The game will start at 3:30 p.m.
Varsity baseball starts season with scrimmage
Laughing with each other, sophomores Analia Bernal and Kenzie Orgeron walk towards the mat. They both have been on softball for 2 years. JV's next game will be on Feb. 11, 2025 against Wakeland Wolverines.
Spring sports go 'Meet the Eagles'
Huddling together before the game, the Prosper High School varsity boys soccer team prepares for their match against McKinney Boyd High School. The game is being held at the PHS Track and Turf. Their next game will be played away.
McKinney Boyd defeats mens varsity soccer 1–4
With Christmas decorations hanging over a street in Downtown McKinney, photographer Kate Duncan shops with her mom. McKinney adorns their town with festive apparel every December. "I love Downtown McKinney during the holidays," Duncan said. "The energy of the town is so nice. I love visiting with my mom during any time of the year."

Anisha is a senior, and this is her fourth year on ENO. She is the Editor-in-Chief for Eagle Nation Times.  Originally from St. Louis, Missouri, she moved to Texas at the end of 2021 and leads the newspaper as a writer, editor, videographer, photographer, and podcaster. She is also the founder and president of the non-profit NeuroNext Foundation and the PHS Model UN team and is a part of SNHS. Outside of school, she enjoys playing the piano, running, traveling, and spending time with family and friends.
