- HOSA will be hosting a blood drive through Carter Blood Care to collect donations for area hospitals. If you are a senior who will have donated two times your senior year, you will receive a Blood Drive Honor cord through Carter Blood Drive. Please see Mrs. Factor if you have any questions about donating. Must be at least 16 years old (must have permission) or 17 and older (without permission). You can sign up during lunches outside the PHS cafeteria.
- Ready, Set, Teach seniors Kayden Bradley and Ava Dwyer participated in the Texas Association of Future Educators Teach Tomorrow Summit and have been named National Qualifiers for their competitive events. Bradley advanced in two competitions: Job Interview and Exploring Education Administrative Careers, which involved the mentorship of Superintendent Holly Ferguson.
Dwyer advanced in the Educators Rising Moment, a speech about her decision to become a teacher.
Bradley and Dwyer will compete at Educators Rising Nationals in Orlando in June.

Saturday, the Prosper High School Talonettes and Eaglettes competed at MA Rockwall Regionals Competition and won big! The JV Eaglettes received 1st place in Pom and second place in both their Jazz and Novelty routines.

The Varsity Talonettes won 1st place in every single routine they brought to competition. This adds up to a total of 12 1st place wins! In addition to these 1st place wins, we had six soloists place in the top five of their age groups, received choreography and technique honors, multiple judges awards, and supersweepstakes. To round out these amazing accomplishments, the Talonettes won 1st Place Overall Public School OUT OF THE ENTIRE COMPETITION!!!
