Eagle Nation Online staff members talk about Tyler the Creators new album “Chromakopia” on their new podcast. The hosts are senior Jake Radcliffe, junior Victoria Byers, sophomore Gracie Patterson, and freshmen Max Allen. This is their first episode of the podcast.

In the first episode of their new podcast “The Sound Spectrum,” senior Jake Radcliffe, junior Victoria Byers, sophomore Gracie Patterson and freshman Max Allen share their thoughts on rapper, singer-songwriter and producer Tyler, The Creator’s eighth album, “Chromakopia.” The hosts discussed their overall thoughts on the album, favorite and least favorite songs, and how they thought it ranked on the “sound spectrum.” This podcast series will focus on reviewing a variety different music projects.

While the audience watches, junior Boyd Mueller sings into a microphone. Mueller plays Hades. Prosper Theatre's "Hadestown: Teen Edition" was chosen to be performed at the Main Stage at the Texas Thespian State Festival in Grapevine. "Generally, Main Stage is a privilege almost exclusively given to private fine art schools," stage manager senior Annabelle Nugent said. "The fact that a public school like Prosper is getting Main Stage is fantastic. Simply, it means that we are at the level of schools who specifically draft for stuff like fine arts and singing and dancing ability, and it's really a compliment to our actors and our technicians."

Instruments at the ready, United Sound special education students work every Friday to learn music with their mentors from the orchestra. Cassie Cepeda, one of the program's teachers, said the group even performed in front of the school board last year. "It was awesome to see all the students just rise to the occasion and learn a song in two rehearsals," Cepeda said. "We had to pull off one of the songs in two rehearsals. They showed us that, we don't need to hold them back. And, it really taught us, and our mentor students, that there's really no limit."

Light on, the Moon Tree is being stored in the floral design classroom until its planted next week. The tree will be planted outside of the cafeteria in the back of the school. Librarian Stephanie Riley partnered up with the USDA Forestry to receive a Moon Tree. “We also have a digital globe, but it's like a citizen science app where students can also help collect data that actually gets submitted to NASA to help with research about tree growth and everything,” Riley said. “So once we get it planted, then we'll start bringing everybody into it.”
From the moon to the school
Overlooking the main entrance of Prosper High School, buses enter the parking lot in the morning. Bus riders arrive later than car riders, meaning that they don't experience the bad traffic other students do. "Traffic is not that bad because I ride the bus," sophomore John Cohorn said. "I'm there almost always on time."
New traffic protocols to alleviate congestion
As Jennifer Delano strikes up a conversation with Tiffany Ballard, they discuss the upcoming details for the Toyota Symposium. A PCIS event where students get the opportunity to make connections, and speak with professionals. “During my first year at Prosper, I taught all the marketing classes,” Ballard said. "Later, I was asked to lead the PCIS program to increase its enrollment. When I first took over, we had only 11 students. Now, we have 400 across Prosper ISD."
From marketing at Sega to adviser
Flags waving, students at Prosper High School honor our veterans. Veterans day occurs annually on Nov. 11. On Nov. 9 the Town of Prosper hosted a 5k, 'Fun Run', and 10k in honor of Veterans day.

As he works on his computer, sophomore Mark Carbajal sits in the Eagle Nation Online classroom. He has helped achieve EagleNationOnline.com's 2024-2025 Site Excellence Badge. "I strived to improve my work, going beyond the requirements of my graphic design assignments," Carbajal said. "[Soon] I had come to the decision that Eagle Nation Online seemed like the most interesting path to me."

Chief Executive Officer senior Jake Radcliffe leads the newspaper to success through writing and teamwork. This marks his third year as a staff member of Eagle Nation Online. Radcliffe is also a member of the Chamber and A Cappella choirs and the vice president of the Asian Student Association. Outside of school, he enjoys singing, reading, hanging out with friends, playing video games and being outdoors. This year, Radcliffe aims to expand ENO and ENT's marketing, grow his journalistic skills and prepare the staff for next year when he won't be here.

As she continues to jump around the bends of different creative tasks, junior Victoria Byers has entered her first year on Eagle Nation Online. She has a passion for fashion and a mind for mental health. Outside of school, you can find relaxing to music with her mom, practicing band with her drum line, or planning her outfit for tomorrow. Tori said she hopes to expand her knowledge on clothing, creative writing, and others' lives.

Gracie Patterson. This marks her 1st year in ENO as a sophomore. A long with the class, she hopes to collaborate with her classmates and work better by herself. Outside of school, she enjoys fashion and design. She likes to read and write and deeply wants to pursue photography/journalism once she gets to college. As she gets home and over the weekends, she likes to sleep, play video games, listen to music, and hangout with her brother, as well as going downtown with her mom and exploring the different places of the world and diversity of the people amongst her.
Max Allen
Max Allen, Reporter
A new member of Eagle Nation Online, Freshman Max Allen will be a reporter for ENO. You can find him playing football or hanging out with his friends. This is his first year on the ENO staff and he is very excited to start working on articles for Eagle Nation Online.
