Upcoming

• The AP exam registration deadline is Nov. 1.
• In Rocketry Club, dedicated to designing and building rockets, members collaborate to participate in exciting rocketry competitions. These events offer the opportunity to showcase  engineering skills and compete for substantial prize money while gaining hands-on experience in aerospace technology and teamwork. Meeting are held every Tuesday from 4:15-5:15 p.m.
• Students have the opportunity for a once-in-a-lifetime trip to Greece THIS summer! There will be an informational meeting tonight. Come by Room 1151 by the broadcast studio to get information for the meeting. They will also announce their 2026 tour location at the meeting.
• Prosper Theater will be having their first production show Hadestown this Thursday – Saturday, Oct 17 – 19 & next Thursday – Saturday, Oct. 24 – 26
•  The Out of Darkness walk will be hosted by American Foundation for Suicide Prevention to support those affected by suicide on Saturday, November 2nd, at Windsong Ranch. Please join the team by following this link.
• Join Hope Squad Saturday, Dec. 7, at Chili’s in Gates of Prosper to participate in packaging meals for those in need. To register, follow this link. Registration ends Nov. 8.

Uplifting

• The community honored Talonette junior Sadie Neddo after her death on Oct. 14 by wearing pink and purple and bringing posters, and stickers that said “Smiling for Sadie” at the varsity football game on Friday, Oct. 18, to show support and honor her memory.
• The varsity football team won against the McKinney Lions on Oct. 17 – 29.
• The next senior lunch will be on Nov. 1. Seniors will be released at 1:33 p.m.
• The next pep rally will be on Oct. 31 during Advisory.
