"I was really proud of how well as a defense we were able to adapt and adjust to their offense," Labbe said. "All week we were trying to prepare for something we wouldn’t be able to see and I think Friday night we executed and were able to read and react very well."

"Volleyball is important to me because before I step on the court for every game I know I get to represent Prosper," Cox said. "This is something we take a lot of pride in."
Lady Eagles 'set' their season with sweep
Caps in the air, senior Kaya Miller, center, celebrates the conclusion of the May 23 morning ceremony. PHS graduates, all 823, had their own favorite memories to share following the festivities, which had originally been scheduled for the evening prior, but inclement weather required a change. “My last football game season was definitely memorable. I always went with my three friends and we would make a whole tradition out of it,” Miller said. “We would get ready, go to the game and then go to either dinner at Texas Roadhouse or In-n-Out.”
Seniors celebrate 2024 graduation
As he focuses on his next play, sophomore Jacob Martinez goes for a touchdown. He will be playing for the varsity team next year. All teams in the football program participated in the spring football game.
Football ends year with spring game
Hands in the air, the Prosper High School baseball team celebrates their win as district champions. The team won 2-0 against the McKinney lions. The team will play against Coppell High School on May 2.

Instruments at the ready, United Sound special education students work every Friday to learn music with their mentors from the orchestra. Cassie Cepeda, one of the program's teachers, said the group even performed in front of the school board last year. "It was awesome to see all the students just rise to the occasion and learn a song in two rehearsals," Cepeda said. "We had to pull off one of the songs in two rehearsals. They showed us that, we don't need to hold them back. And, it really taught us, and our mentor students, that there's really no limit."

Prosper ISD installed the silent emergency alarm during the summer. The button is placed in every classroom, and is used when authorities are needed.
Seconds can save lives
Sketching every detail, juniors Addyson Bergman and Olivia Crooks trace over award-winning actress Marlee Matlin for a Deaf Awareness Month poster. Both students are in Honors American Sign Language III, where they learn about deaf communication skills as well as culture. “I’m looking forward to everything that we’re about to do,” senior Nicole “Lieu” Bancroft said. “I think this class has a lot of sharing to do. I feel I’m really excited to see how this class is able to grow."
Teachers, students bring deaf culture awareness to school
The week of Sep. 16 – 20 is Homecoming Week. The annual parade will take place on Sep. 18 at 6 p.m. followed by a pep rally at PHS. The Varsity Homecoming game will take place on Sep. 20 at 7 p.m. at Children's Stadium.

Analysis: Eagles continue training through bye–week, look forward to homecoming game
Breaking through their defense, junior Brady Harris gets through Westlake players to help his team in the fourth quarter. In the last few minutes, even when the team was losing, Prosper was able to push through. Prosper ended up with a loss 35-14.
Football takes close loss in 1st game against Westlake prior to home win
Power washing tool in hand, senior Eli Heintz cleans a sidewalk. Heintz has owned his business Rapid Renew Exterior Cleaning for over one year. Rapid Renew offers services such as power washing, window cleaning and driveway cleaning.

As she prepares for her next move, freshman Arshi Mehri serves the ball to the opponent without going out of bounds. This marks her first year being in the tennis program. Mehri plays doubles and singles.
'Battle of the birds' Tennis defeats Rock Hill 14–5
One foot in front of the other, senior Leo Anguiano attempts to stop his opponent, and run to the other side of the field. This marks Anguiano's fourth year in the program. The first game will be against Austin Westlake on Aug. 28 at 7 p.m.
