A Cabaret was held by Prosper Theatre at Frontier Park Pavilion from 5 to 6 p.m. on March 28. Students performed songs, monologues and scenes from different musicals and plays.
This event was held in celebration of Theatre in Our Schools Month and to earn the Theatre in Our Schools Outstanding Impact Award. Theatre in Our Schools is a national campaign to promote and spread awareness about the benefits of theatre education.
“This is an award given to schools who did exemplary work, like promoting theatre in their schools and their communities at large,” junior Annabelle Nugent said. “Getting this award would really benefit our theatre department because it shines a light on how much effort the students really put into our performances and our productions.”
