Meet the Cast of ‘Les Misérables’
Opening the season with a bang, the theatre department tackles one of the most widely known musicals of all time, Les Misérables. First written as a novel by Victor Hugo, the original French musical premiered in Paris in 1980. The show follows the life of ex-convict Jean Valjean, starting in 1815 until the 1832 June Rebellion in Paris.
“Les Misérables” will open Nov. 3 as this year’s fall musical, following last year’s fall production of The Lion King Jr. The show will be open from Nov. 3-5. Performances on the 3, 4, and 5 will be at 6:30 p.m. There will be an additional performance on Nov. 5 at 1:30 p.m.
