Varsity Theatre advances to UIL Bi-District competition, TAFE to nationals

Upcoming

  • Varsity girls golf will compete in a district tournament away Monday and Tuesday, March 28 and 29.
  • Varsity tennis will play in the district tournament away Tuesday and Wednesday, March 29 and 30.
  • Varsity softball will play Boyd away Tuesday, March 29, at 7 p.m.
  • Varsity baseball will play McKinney home Tuesday, March 29, at 7:30 p.m.
  • Varsity track will compete in the Lovejoy Relays away Friday, April 1, at 8 a.m.
  • Varsity softball will play Little Elm away Friday, April 1, at 7 p.m.
  • Varsity baseball will play McKinney away Friday, April 1, at 7:30 p.m.
  • Varsity baseball will play Rockwall away Saturday, April 2, at 2 p.m.

Uplifting

Prosper Theatre will advance to the Bi-District competition after their district competition. Five students won individual awards:

  • Lauren Grammer – All Star Cast
  • Cooper Smith – All Star Cast
  • Karolina Rubio-Terrazas – Honorable Mention All Star Cast
  • Charlie Yohannan – All Star Crew

TAFE students Ashley Bledsoe, Alivia DiDonato, Riley Dossett, Suhyoon Lee, Mady Small, and Skyler Stubblefield will advance to the Educators Rising Nationals this summer after placing in the state meet.
