At “Meet the Eagles,” junior varsity cheerleading coach Emily Allen, head coach Cameron Jones and freshman coach Mariessa Mesa walk out of the Eagle tunnel as their names are announced. The junior varsity cheer team has students in grades sophomore through senior year. “Team is respect, collaboration, encouragement and support,” Allen said. “It doesn’t have to be that everyone is best friends, but we all have to learn to respect and collaborate with each other.”
