Open house to occur Monday, sendoff highlights Thursday, senior car wash comes Friday

As she researches information, senior Kierstyn Schroeder works on her computer in her second-period engineering practicum class. The class members, who are in the planning stages of a long-term project, will create an invention that works as a solution to a problem. A slideshow showing the students working on their projects will be up on Eagle Nation Online next week.

  • The school open house will occur Monday, Aug. 30 at 6:30.
  • Varsity girls tennis plays McKinney Tuesday, Aug. 31 at 3:30 at home.
  • Varsity volleyball plays Byron Nelson Tuesday, Aug. 31 at 6:30 away.
  • A senior meeting will occur in Eagle Time Wednesday, Sept. 1.
  • A send off will occur in place of the pep rally on Thursday, Sept. 2.
  • The senior community car wash will occur Friday, Sept. 3.
  • Varsity volleyball will play against Mansfield Legacy Friday, Sept. 3 at 5:30.
  • Varsity football will play Mansfield Lake Ridge Friday, Sept. 3 at 7:00 at home.
  • Varsity girls cross country will play in the Coach T Invitation Saturday, Sept. 4 at 7:00 a.m. away.

  • Lacrosse is holding a shoe drive with a goal of getting 2,500 pairs of shoes by Oct. 30. The team will have a competition Saturday, Aug. 21 at the Starbucks in the Gates of Prosper to kick off the event. There will be boxes in the front office of both high schools for donations.
