Eagle Brief: Nov. 2-6
Gathering after their matches, junior Maegan Flaherty and senior Delia Luna stand alongside coaches Tony Cooper and Sion King. Luna placed 4th and Flaherty placed 5th in their weight classes. The girls and boys team competed in the USA Wrestling Preseason National Tournament in Des Moines, Iowa, with senior LJ Richardson placing 5th and senior Chase Parham placing 8th for the boys’ team. “They competed amongst the best,” King said. “We’re very proud of them.”
