Pink-out pep rally raises breast cancer awareness

Waving their pom-poms, junior varsity cheerleaders dance to the band's music. Although the pep rally was for sophomores and seniors in person, all of the cheer team was able to attend. "Pep rallies are fun because we are just with our teammates, and we get to support our teams," sophomore cheerleader Meredith Wright said. "The pink-out theme was really cool, too."

Two groups — sophomores and seniors — attended this social-distanced event in the arena to watch the performances of the groups who organized the production. Freshman and juniors who did not have a specific role in the pep rally watched via a live-stream link in their classrooms.
