Eagle Update
- September is National Preparedness Month, and PISD has made a week-by-week agenda which starts with week one’s commitment to make a plan to communicate
- To stay up to date, students can check out the PISD event calendar
- In respect for National Suicide Prevention Week, Hope Squad created a themed dress up day for each of the school week. Students should dress as tacky tourists on Tuesday, students should wear yellow for Hope Day on Wednesday, camouflage day is meant to encourage people to not hide in their mental health on Thursday and to respect and honor those who lost their lives on Sept. 11, 2001, students should wear purple on Friday

- Tennis will play against Little Elm in a district game Sept. 11
- Eagle Nation News will air their first episode Sept. 11
- Cross country will compete in the NTXC circuit one meet Sept. 12
- Meet the Eagles will start Sept. 19 at 8 p.m. at the Children’s Health Stadium
- The PISD school board will meet Sept. 21 at 7 p.m.
- The PISD COVID-19 dashboard keeps track of all active cases in the district
