Varsity volleyball wins over Denton Guyer
Nikki Steinheiser spikes the ball at the opposing team during the volleyball game Friday night in the arena. Prosper faced off against Denton Guyer and came out on top in a 5-set match. Volleyball season started Aug. 6 with their match against Waxahachie.
In the win over Denton Guyer, juniors Shaylee Shore and Samantha Jacobs block a ball from the opposing team last Friday, Aug. 16 in the arena. Prosper came up victorious over Denton Guyer in a 5-set game. The Eagles face off against Rockwall Heath Aug. 22.

Caroline Wilburn, a senior, has lived in Prosper, Texas, since 2010. This is her second year on staff, and she holds the position of sports editor this year. In addition, she serves on the editorial board for Eagle Nation Online. Outside of school, she enjoys spending time with friends, family and her dogs. She also plays for the varsity tennis team and looks forward to combining her love for sports and journalism together.

Emma Gnidziejko is the Photo Editor for the 2019-2020 school year, making her responsible for all of the photos in the newspaper. Emma is an outgoing, passionate individual, and loves to meet new people. Her passion is telling stories and showing emotion through photography, and getting to know the people she is photographing so that their personalities show through in the photos.
