Jordan Kirkley, is a sophomore and this is her first year on staff for Eagle Nation Online. She writes to get the truth and tell others what is happening, and hopes to bring something big to the team. She is also apart of the Theatre community and Troop 6800.

Unwrapping a gift, sophomore Luckie Cormier finds a dagger in the blue box. Cormier has been in two other shows in the department prior to her performance in Clue: On Stage. Clue opened Dec. 8. The show ran from Dec. 8-10, held at 6:30 p.m.

As they gaze into space, senior Cooper Smith, sophomore Luckie Cormier and freshman Nathan Phillips ride their rocket ship in the game Movie Trailer. Smith and Philips are both in the upcoming Les Misérables production and Cormier plays Mrs. Peacock in Clue. I feel like I am learning a lot about being an actor, Phillips said. Its really fun.

Lights up on the stage, the auditorium is empty, awaiting the beginning of rehearsal for the musical, Les Misérables. Auditions for the upcoming Prosper Theatre shows were Aug. 22-23. Competition is a huge part of auditions, and there is always high tension until the list of  people who made it gets released, Chris Kulmann said. Don’t ever let that tension get to you.

Huddled together on the stage, all four houses group together for a photo. There are four houses that the department is divided into: Ursa, Procyon, Callidus and Concordia. This semester, the theatre department will be performing Les Misérables as the fall musical, and Clue as the fall play.
