As civil conflicts in Syria worsen and aerial drones are being spotted in New Jersey, juniors Trisha Panicker and Aarushi Rana discuss potential implications and their perspectives. “Starting off strong with the Middle East where instability has shaken the region after the fall of Bashar al-Assad’s regime,” Aarushi said. “Rebel forces, including the designated terrorist group Hayat Tahrir al-Sham, now control significant areas.”

What’s up our current eventers and happy holidays! This is the third weekly world wrap up with Trisha and Aarushi covering Dec. 8 to Dec. 13. In this episode, juniors Trisha and Aarushi discuss Syria, Geneva, the Nobel Peace Prize Forum in Oslo, Trump’s future office plans and cabinet picks, the Notre-Dame Cathedral, Texas winterstorms, the Texas Longhorns, the Texas-Mexico border, aerial drones in New Jersey, and finally, American airlines.

Shaking hands, junior Khloe Roan celebrates her two Talonette teachers, Ashley Sharp and Colleen Hunt. Roan has been a Talonette for three years at Prosper. "I truly could not pick between these wonderful ladies no matter how hard I tried," Roan said. "They've done so much for me, whether it was helping me grow as a leader and eventually into a dance officer, being people to put down as references when I applied for a job or being some of the first people to cheer for me after getting the job."

Aarushi Rana, originally from Connecticut, is a junior at Prosper High School. This is her first year on Eagle Nation Online and she serves as a reporter. In her free time, she enjoys painting, reading and watching movies. Through ENO, she hopes to enhance her literature skills.
