Amid the Government classes, mayor David Bristol visits students at Prosper High School. Bristol answered questions asked by students and participated in a Q&A. He served in the military, where he flew F-111Fs and F-15Es.

Upcoming

    • Catholic Students Association to listen to guest speaker Michael DeMarco– current Texas A&M student and PHS Class of 2020 Graduate– speak about his journey into recently joining the Catholic faith as well as how to keep your faith while at college.
    • Join Mrs. Waggoner and friends for a Fabulous 5 day trip this June to beautiful Puerto Rico for kayaking, hiking, sightseeing and cool culture!! This trip is open to friends and family if you want to invite them. Scan the QR code for more information and feel free to reach out to Mrs. Waggoner in Portable 2! This will happen in June 2025.
    • PHS disciples is a student ran organization to grow students closer to Christ and connect with your peers. A meeting includes A speaker, Fellowship, breakouts. Meetings are held every Wednesday at 4:15 p.m. in room 1205.
    • All clubs, make sure to check with your sponsor about signing up for yearbook pictures. Deadline is Friday, Dec. 20.

Smiling for the camera, the Varsity Debate Team strikes a pose. This past weekend, they traveled to Austin for the Annual Longhorn Classic competition. This includes senior Avery Parker, senior Muhammed Nije, junior Hassan Sarfaraz, senior Mahnoor Waqas, senior Mara Moral, and junior Tanish Chauhan.
Eagle Brief: Dec. 9 – 13
After celebrating their banquet, the senior boys of the Water Polo team get together for a picture. In the picture are seniors Nathan Tang, Tyce Pierce, Shane Gorokhovsky, Hanna Lee, Nick Vargas, Kaiden MaGee. The banquet took place on Nov. 16. The last game was on Oct. 15 against Southlake.

As they discuss a dive, junior Kiera Williams listens to dive coach Eric Ognibene. Williams competes in varsity water polo, varsity swim and varsity dive. "You can't be scared and be a diver," Williams said. "You have to just do it."
Eagle Brief: Nov. 18 - 22
Flags waving, students at Prosper High School honor our veterans. Veterans day occurs annually on Nov. 11. On Nov. 9 the Town of Prosper hosted a 5k, 'Fun Run', and 10k in honor of Veterans day.
Eagle Brief: Nov. 11 - Nov. 15
Arms in a heart, senior Nathanial Crabtree leads the student section in a cheer. The Eagles will play Plano West next on Nov. 7 at John Clark Stadium. The next game will be the last district match before heading off into playoffs.
Eagle Brief: Nov. 4 – 9
Donning purple and pink clothing, students cheer at a football game. The last home game of the season will take place Oct. 31. The Eagles will be competing against Princeton High School. The theme of the game is neon.

Playing a crucial role in the logistics of Civic Leaders of America, Texas Chief of Staff senior Mara Gonzalez Moral addresses the room with confidence. CLA is an entirely student-led organization with the mission of fostering civic engagement among high schoolers through regular debates, local conventions, information about current events, activism and volunteering opportunities. "Being a part of CLA has truly been the most rewarding activity of my high school years," Moral said. "I hope that if you join as well, you will find that you experience can be just as incredible."

Standing together, Prosper paramedics and attendees engage in conversation before the meeting starts. These paramedics were invited to the meeting to receive the Life Saving Award as they played a vital role in saving Dr. Greg Bradley's life.
School board meeting celebrates staff
As he takes a break from his column, freshman Jah'siah Dennis stops to check in in with photographer and teammate sophomore Mark Carbajal. Before this picture, Dennis had been working on publishing the attached column. "You should never be scared to move schools," Dennis said. "A new place could always be better."

Outside of the MPF, cars line up in the parking lot to escape the rain. Traffic was formed due to the traffic patterns and the number of cars in the parking lot. An announcement for upperclassmen to leave early was made in an attempt to prevent traffic, but traffic formed regardless.
Editorial: Traffic patterns create frustration
Arms up, senior Hannah Lee smiles at the camera. Lee is the only senior on the girls varsity team. "The best part about the season was being able to have successful games," Lee said. "And have a memorable senior year."

Gracie Patterson. This marks her 1st year in ENO as a sophomore. A long with the class, she hopes to collaborate with her classmates and work better by herself. Outside of school, she enjoys fashion and design. She likes to read and write and deeply wants to pursue photography/journalism once she gets to college. As she gets home and over the weekends, she likes to sleep, play video games, listen to music, and hangout with her brother, as well as going downtown with her mom and exploring the different places of the world and diversity of the people amongst her.

Michelle Ayala can be found cheering on her dance team, as well as attending all kinds of school events. She is a freshman at Prosper High School. This is her first year on staff as a reporter. She is originally from Frisco, Texas. During her free time, Michelle spends time dancing on the Eaglettes JV drill team. She also loves going on runs, baking, and spending time with friends and family. During her time on the newspaper she hopes to improve her photography skills, and writing.

Senior Sofia Ayala leads Eagle Nation Online as editor-in-chief. This is her fourth year working for Eagle Nation Online. She served as Assistant Editor for Eagle Nation Times and served as the Feature editor in the past. Sofia is part of the varsity PHS Talonettes drill team where she enjoys dancing with her team. Outside of school, she loves going out on runs, reading, and listening to music.
