- Join Hope Squad on Saturday, Dec. 7, at Chili’s in Gates of Prosper to participate in packaging meals for those in need. To register, follow this link. Registration ends Nov. 8.
- In Rocketry Club, which is dedicated to designing and building rockets, members collaborate to participate in exciting rocketry competitions. These events offer the opportunity to showcase engineering skills and compete for substantial prize money while gaining hands-on experience in aerospace technology and teamwork. Meetings are held every Tuesday from 4:15 to 5:15 p.m.
- The blood drive is for any student who is eligible. Students who are 16 years old must have a signed permission slip before signing up and if they are 17 and older they can sign up anytime. The blood drive will be held in the gym on Thursday, Nov. 21.
- Donate small gifts/stocking stuffers appropriate for ages 0-18 for the Cornerstone Stocking Stuffer Drive. Donations will be due to a bin outside of room 1238 by Dec. 2.
- FCCLA is partnering with Cornerstone Church to host a Gift Wrap Essentials Drive! Donate wrapping paper, gift tags, tape, bows, medium and large bags and tissue paper to help spread holiday spirit! The donation deadline is Dec. 4, and drop-off is located in rooms 1110 and 1208.
- PHS is partnering with TEXAS CASA to provide foster kids with needed items in the area. A tree will be placed in the Peagle (middle section of the school) for anyone to pick an “Angel” to bring a gift from Dec. 3 to Dec. 11.

- Let’s honor our PHS veterans Thomas Gomez, Ryan Denham, Vincent Seymour and Nathan Payne!
- It’s National Novel Writing month! Join writers worldwide in writing 50,000 words of a rough draft in a novel by Nov. 30.
- Band competed in Indiana for Grand Nationals on Nov. 14–16. They took 11th place in the nation out of more than 100 bands.
- The Rock Hill High School Pep Band played for PHS at the playoff football game on Nov. 17.
- Students from the Ready, Set, Teach program here at PHS competed at the Texas Association of Future Educators Area this past weekend with great success. Three students will be moving forward to State in February. Kayden Bradley will be competing in job interview and exploring administrative careers. Olivia Davis will be competing in children’s literature. Ava Dwyer will be competing in educators rising moment.

The recipients of the 2024 College/High School NATAS Student Production Awards (from the same organization that awards the EMMYs) were just announced Nov. 18. The outstanding filmmakers of Eagle Production Group, and broadcast journalists of Eagle Nation News, won a total of nine awards! Please congratulate these amazing individuals the next time you see them—this is a truly incredible honor!
