As the Mighty Eagle Band prepares for another year, the program began its annual camp July 17. The camp consisted of two full weeks of learning how to march, play music, memorize the music, perform drill and much more. Each day started at 7:30 a.m. on the practice marching field and went until 11:30 a.m. After that, they have a break until 12:30 p.m., which is when music block starts. The music block ends at 3:00 p.m., and the band is sent home to eat dinner and rest until the next part of the camp at 6:30 p.m. The final block ends at 8:30 p.m., when the band is sent home for the night. The band has been working hard for this marching season, and it will be performing at all of the varsity football games. There will be a community performance at the Reynolds Middle School stadium tonight at 7:30pm.
