- Prosper High School College Week Jan. 29 – Feb. 2. Over 30 colleges and universities will visit during lunches from 12:30 p.m. – 2:30 p.m. each day that week. They will be visiting with students and bringing promotional materials, giveaways and swag. Click here to see what colleges will be showcased.
- It’s time to choose your classes for next year. Please check your email for important information about Course Selection. Please make sure you have entered the courses you plan to take next year by the deadline of Jan. 29. The Counselors will be meeting with every student – You will be able to make changes when you meet with your counselor.
- The counselors are getting lots of requests for meetings about course selection. Remember – they will be meeting with each of you individually soon through English and Social Studies. Counselors requests students to please be patient. If you have a question about your courses for next year, please ask the counselors who are on duty during lunch – or on duty before school. They will answer all of your other questions once they meet with you during your course selection meeting.
- NHS Applications are now open to any student who has a 3.5 overall GPA or higher. Reach out to Ms. Pirovano or Ms. Ballard with any questions.
- SkillsUSA is collecting donations for Lovepacs. Lovepacs helps provide food for families in need. Currently, they are in need of items such as canned fruits, vegetables, soup, peanut butter and jelly, granola bars, and more. Visit bit.ly/SkillsLovepacs24 or scan the QR code for the full list of needed items. All donations can be dropped off in The Nest with Ms. Riley through Jan. 31.
- Model UN will be having its next meeting on Friday, Jan 26 in the LGI. They will also be hosting a fundraiser on Sunday, March 3 at Chipotle.

Uplifting
- DECA competed at districts, and 58 students advanced to the state competition.
- Junior Kendall Mosley was named Star Local Media athlete of the week for basketball.
- The Lady Eagle Powerlifters competed @ Princeton High School on Jan. 20 leaving with a school record as four were medalists and three qualified for regionals.
- Mrs. Paige Trujillo will be taking the new Principal of Curriculum and Learning position starting in July.
- The Eagle Powerlifters placed 2nd as a team and had nine medalists on Jan. 18, leaving a new school record.
