Upcoming
- Prosper High School will host the Eagle Idol Talent Show Wednesday, March 1. Submissions to participate in this year’s talent show are due no later than Wednesday, Feb. 22.
- If you are attending Walnut Grove next year and would like to apply to be a Student Council Executive Officer or in the WG Student Leadership class, applications are due Feb. 10. They can be picked up and returned to room 1238 (Sr. Salas’ room.) Regular Student Council applications will be available in April.
- Feb. 9 is the date of the ASL club and Honor Society Valentine’s Party. Learn new signs, have some snacks and win some prizes!
- Cheer tryouts will be held Feb. 27 – March 3. The mandatory informational meeting will be held Feb. 2 at 6:30 p.m. in the cafeteria.
- SNHS Fall ’22 and Spring ’23 induction ceremony will be held Feb. 16
- The application window for the PHS National Honor Society will open Jan. 13 and close Feb. 24. All information needed can be found on the Prosper High School National Honor Society page, or students can reach out to Mrs. Rutledge.
- PHS Theatre will present “Puffs Or Seven Increasingly Eventful Years at a Certain School of Magic and Magic,” Feb. 9-11, 2023 at 6:30 p.m. in the Prosper Theatre Black Box (Room 1168F).
- The Our Body Not Yours Club will be having a Valentine’s Day booth in front of the cafeteria on Monday, Feb. 13. Students can buy and customize a candy gift bag for their Valentine and the members of OBNY will deliver them during advisory on Tuesday, Feb. 14.
- Next Tuesday is Valentine’s Day.
- Formerly a bad weather makeup day, Feb. 17 is now a school day due to the ice storm. It will be a B day. April 10, also a former bad weather makeup day, will be an A day.
- Feb. 20 is a professional learning day.
