Upcoming
- The ASL club and honor society will be hosting another “silent dinner” at Raising Canes Jan. 25 from 5:30-7:30 p.m. They will be raffling off a prize at 6:30.
- Friday, Jan. 27 is the last day to purchase a yearbook. Please contact Mrs. Hamlin if you have any questions.
- Course selections are officially open.
- Cheer tryouts will be held Feb. 27 – March 3. The mandatory informational meeting will be held Feb. 2 at 6:30 p.m. in the cafeteria.
- Annual Hope Week will be Monday, Jan. 30 through Friday, Feb. 3. Dress up days will be coming out soon.
- The Disciples of Christ Life study club will meet weekly on Wednesday mornings in the library at 8:15 a.m.
- The Our Body Not Yours club will be having their January meeting on Wednesday, Jan. 18 in the LGI. Join OBNY from 4:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. to have fun and start a conversation. They are a club set to educate students on the issue of sexual violence from different perspectives to truly understand the problem and evaluate solutions. Please contact Mrs. Ballard for more information.

- The application window for the PHS National Honor Society will open Jan. 13 and close Feb. 24. All information needed can be found on the Prosper High School National Honor Society page, or students can reach out to Mrs. Rutledge.
- PHS Theatre will present “Puffs Or Seven Increasingly Eventful Years at a Certain School of Magic and Magic,” Feb. 9-11, 2023 at 6:30 p.m. in the Prosper Theatre Black Box (Room 1168F).

Kalyani Rao is a senior. This is her third year as a staff member on Eagle Nation Online, and her first year as Executive Editor-in-Chief. Maya Contreras was born in Katy, Texas and moved to Prosper in 2018. She is currently a junior at Prosper High School. This is her first year on the ENO staff and she is excited to explore new opportunities and write for the newspaper. Outside of ENO, she is the treasurer of National Art Honor Society and enjoys reading.
