After getting scored on, Coppells goalie rests his head after tie breaks. Taking turns, both goalies prepare for the puck. “We have one more game left in the season. I most likely wont get to play being a goalie that alternates games,” Prosper goalie Jacob McGovern said. “So with that game being most likely my last, it was a lot to think about. It is a shame that is is all over for me. However, life must go on. There will be other opportunities for me to do what I love.”

Hockey loss doesn’t end playoff hopes

Cheering on Cedric while he fights a dragon, the Puffs represent their house while wearing their house colors. Junior Haven Sherman portrays Xavia Jones in the play. Ive enjoyed working with everybody and making close connections and friends in Puffs, Sherman said. This experience will help me in the future by helping me explore new characters that I play.

Before her competition, Yuktha Pemmasani – like other candidates – gets ready to present her campaign posters. The theme of my campaign was the main thing (that) stood out from everyone else, Pemmasani said. I chose a bachelor theme, which was really outside of the box. District 7 is one of the largest DECA districts in the US, so Pemmasani faced challenges in leading the constantly growing district. Pemmasani has already put thought into her plan for District 7 next year.

Junior becomes DECA district president, helps lead Prosper to state

Following the awards ceremony of the Winter Guard International (WGI) Tulsa competition, JV and varsity winter guard members take a group photo with their trophies. Teams performed their shows in the competition on March 4, with both trams advancing to finals. The JV placed 3rd in Scholastic Regional A and varsity placed 10th in Scholastic A. Grouping together before a team pep talk, the JV winter guard prepares to warm up for their first ever finals performance. This is the first time a JV winter guard program has advanced to finals at a regional competition in school history. (I liked) the experience of getting ready with everyone,” freshman Klarissa Warren said. “The excitement of getting ready with everyone before our performances was really great.”
