Motunrayo Abegunde – Mr. Boddy

Is this your first production with the department?

No, I have worked on productions with the department before. In “Curse you Otis Crummy” last year, I played the Sheriff. During the House of Dramatics, I was also a part of the Theatre I production “Zombies.”

How do you feel about the upcoming show?

I’m really excited!

Can you describe your character?

Mr. Boddy is the host of the party that takes place. He blackmails the rest of the cast in response to their wrongdoings. The motorist just happens to stumble upon what mysteries that happen to unfold in the manor, as he crashed his car and was in need of a phone. The chief of police acts in the capacity of a police officer and initiates the arrest of the suspects, as suggested by his title.

What are the types of things that you have been working on in rehearsals?

During rehearsals, I have been working on each distinct accent for my characters.

What is something you are looking forward to when the show opens?

I’m looking forward to the reaction of the audience!

Why should people come see this show?

I think it would be fun to watch, as the murder mystery tends to involve comedy.
