Upcoming

  • The 2nd Annual Winter Classic Ping Pong Tournament (Singles & Doubles – Double Elimination Tournaments) will be held Dec. 3. Pizza & Popcorn will be provided. Singles Tournament starts at 10 a.m. and Doubles Tournament starts at 1 p.m.
  • An informational meeting for an all girls robotics team will be held Dec. 1 from 5 – 7 p.m. in the LGI at Rock Hill. This team will be an extension of the Prosper Engineering Team. The Google Classroom code is qr2cxba. Contact Mr. Geiter for more information.
  • Culinary arts students will be competing in the HS BBQ Southlake Regional Cook Off Dec. 2 and 3.
  • The National Art Honor Society is collecting goods for the residents at the Settlers Ridge Care Center from Nov. 14 to Dec. 9. Students and teachers can drop off any goods from the list in the drop off box by the cafeteria or in room 3209 in the second portable. Handmade cards are welcome.
  • The Anime Club will be hosting an Anime Trivia Showdown on Tuesday, Dec. 6, in Ms. Middleton’s room in 3201 from 4:15-4:50 p.m.
The Prosper Theatre will be performing “Clue” Dec. 8 – 10. The show will be held at 6:30 p.m. in the Black Box Theater in room 1168F. Tickets are $10 for adults and $8 for students. (PHS Theatre Department)
  • The PHS Theatre Department will be performing “Clue” Dec. 8-10 in the Black Box Theater.
  • The Junior World Affairs Council Monthly Meeting will be held in room 1247 from Dec. 5-7.
  • Off-season and spring football practices will begin in January.
  • The Prosper Helping Hands club is collecting donations for the Collin County Animal Shelter. The donation drive will run from Nov. 28 through Dec. 9. Items requested include cat and dog toys, cat and dog treats, leashes, collars and pet grooming products. Donation bins are located by the front office, in the learning cottages and in room 1213.
  • Tennis club will meet on Tuesday, Dec. 6, at 4:15 p.m. in room 1260.

Prosper Theatre students competed in the Texas Thespians state competition Nov. 16 – 19, with 28 national qualifiers.
