Is this your first production with the department?

This is not my first production in the department. I played Robert Martin in ‘The Drowsy Chaperone,’ Simba in ‘The Lion King Jr.’, and Jesus in ‘Godspell.’ They were all great experiences.

How do you feel about the upcoming show?

I feel extremely excited for this upcoming show. This is the most amazing show I have ever been in.

Can you describe your character?

My character, Jean Valjean, is an escaped convict who turns over a new leaf and learns the meaning of life. With carrying the weight of his past on his back, he still finds a way to do what’s right for the ones he loves.

What are the types of things that you have been working on in rehearsals?

During rehearsals, I have been working on all the music and vocals. Everything in this musical is sung so that has been hard.

What is something you are looking forward to when the show opens?

The thing I’m most looking forward to is the audience reaction to the astonishing set.

Why should people come see this show?

The thing I’m looking forward to is the audience reaction to the astonishing set. People should come see this show because it is truly a work of art. Every cast and crew member has put their heart and soul into this, and the result matches it. This show teaches beautiful lessons and will leave an impression on you.
