Enjolras

Is this your first production with the department? What else have you been in, and how was that experience?

No, I have been in theatre since middle school. I have been in productions such as ‘The Lion King Jr.’ and ‘Seussical.’ Those shows were really fun, and I got to build such strong connections that I keep with me today.

How do you feel about the upcoming show?

I feel that ‘Les Misérables’ will be amazing. All of us in the cast are giving (our) all, especially the technicians. The technical side of the show is what I love most.

Can you describe your character?

I play Enjolras and he is the leader of the ABC café students. The students rise up and try to make a difference, and I am glad that I am able to lead them.

What are the types of things that you have been working on in rehearsals?

In rehearsals, what I mainly focus on is my singing and blocking for Act Two at the barricade.

What is something you are looking forward to when the show opens?

I can’t wait for the audience’s reviews. I am very jealous that I won’t be able to watch from an audience point of view.

Why should people come see this show?

People should come see this show because the story captivates you effortlessly, and I feel that we have done these characters justice.
