Softball, baseball look toward tournaments, soccer continues season

  • Varsity baseball is going to play against MacArthur and Lehman away in the Comal County Classic, Friday, March 4, at 1 p.m. and 4 p.m.
  • Varsity softball will play against Timber Creek and Eaton away at Eaton High School, Friday, March 4, at 3:00 p.m. and 7 p.m.
  • Varsity boys soccer will play against Denton Braswell at Walker Middle School, Friday, March 4, at 7:30 p.m.

  • Varsity softball will play against Little Elm at home, Tuesday, March 8, at 7 p.m. This game is First Responders Night.

Neena Sidhu is a senior at Prosper High School and is the Chief Operating Officer for Eagle Nation Online. Before she moved to Prosper in 2018, she lived in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania and lived there her whole life. This is her third year on staff and is also involved in the Football Operations Department.

  • Eyes on the ball, senior Ayden Ames positions her arms, ready to bump the ball. Ames is in the top 50 for national rankings and ranked top 13 in Texas. Ames is committed to University of Texas at Austin. Outside of school, Ames has played as middle blocker for the USA Volleyball U19 National Training Team who went on to win the World Championship title.

  • During a triathlon race, senior Eli McWard completes the cycling distance. The order of the races starts with swimming, then biking, then running. A good support team has been the backbone for whenever anything is both going great, but also not going great, McWard said. I think especially through the lows when youre doubting yourself, theyre the ones reminding you – you love this sport, not because of your performances and how well youre doing at races, but because you enjoy waking up every day, and training and pushing yourself to find new limits.
