Soccer season continues, spring ‘Meet the Eagles’ honors athletes

Neena Sidhu is a senior at Prosper High School and is the Chief Operating Officer for Eagle Nation Online. Before she moved to Prosper in 2018, she lived in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania and lived there her whole life. This is her third year on staff and is also involved in the Football Operations Department.

Alyssa Clark is a senior, and this is her second year on staff. She was the social media director last year, and can't wait to direct the opinion page this year. In her free time, she can be found grabbing coffee with friends, or playing with her dogs. She plans on attending college after high school, and to major in psychology.

  • Brainstorming, senior Taryn Stilson writes poems in her journal. Stilsons favorite hobby is creative writing. Sometimes as I write, I just continue on an idea and then it kind of morphs into something else, Stilson said. So I think that thats what happened, and I created my own dystopian society. Mr. Smith said it was kind of Star Trek II accidentally – I dont watch Star Trek.

If you are at least 17 and a half years old, a US citizen, and a resident in Texas then you can register to vote in Texas,  Scott Nichols, United States Government teacher at PHS said. You must register to vote at least 30 days prior to an election you intend to vote in. Please make your voice heard and work for the change you seek.

  • Before the DECA award ceremony, seniors Keeley Dailey, Architha Yerragunta, Kaya Miller and Rithika Chakrapani are dressed professionally. The DECA state competition was held in Houston Feb. 15-17. Six students qualified for the international competition.
