Football to advance to playoffs, despite loss to McKinney Boyd

The varsity team lost 35-7 in an away game at McKinney Independent School District Stadium Friday, Nov. 5. The Prosper Eagles will play again this Friday, Nov. 12, against the Flower Mound Marcus Marauders for the first, or bi-district, round of the playoffs. The Eagles are looking to face the Flower Mound Marcus Marauders on Friday for the first round of the playoffs. The Eagles are going into the game with a 6-4 record, while the Marauders are going into the game with an 8-2 record. Last year, the two teams also faced off in the first round of the playoffs, with the Eagles coming out on top with a 38-19 win.
