Cross country heads to state, volleyball advances to playoffs, football defeats Allen
After the win against Allen, students, players and fans gather around head coach Schmidt. The game was played on Friday, Oct. 29 at 7 p.m. at Children’s Health Stadium. The final score was 28-23.

- Varsity cross country will compete in the UIL 6A State Championship away, Saturday, Nov. 6, at Old Settlers Park at 9 a.m. For more information on one of the cross country runners, junior Shewaye Johnson, read writer and freshman Sofia Ayala’s feature here.
- Varsity volleyball will play in the area round of the playoffs against J.J. Pearce away at Plano Senior High School, Thursday, Nov. 4, at 7 p.m.
- Varsity football will play their last regular-season game against McKinney Boyd, Friday, Nov. 5, at McKinney ISD Stadium at 7 p.m
- Varsity golf will compete in the Prosper Fall Classic, Friday, Oct. 29, at Gentle Creek Golf Course at 8 a.m.
- Varsity boy’s basketball will compete in a scrimmage against The Colony and Frisco Centennial away at J.J. Pearce, Saturday, Nov. 6, at 10 a.m.
- Varsity boy’s basketball will compete in a scrimmage against Sachse at home, Wednesday, Nov. 10, at 5 p.m.
- Varsity women’s basketball will play a game, Friday, Nov. 5, at 5:30 p.m. away against Wylie at Wylie High School.
- Varsity women’s basketball will play a game, Tuesday, Nov. 9, at 6:30 p.m. home against Frisco Memorial.
- Varsity wrestling will have their team trials at home, Saturday, Nov. 6, at 10 a.m.

- Varsity volleyball won against McKinney North, 3-0, Friday, Oct. 29.
- Varsity volleyball won against Flower Mound in the first round of the playoffs, 3-1, Tuesday, Nov. 2.
- Varsity football won against Allen, 28-23, Friday, Oct. 29.
- Varsity golf competed in the Southlake Carroll 4 Ball Day, Friday, Oct. 29 and Saturday, Oct. 30 at Tangle Ridge Golf Club, and girls and boys both finished sixth.
- Varsity women’s golf competed in the Denton Guyer-Fall District Preview at Lantana Golf Club, Monday, Nov. 1 and finished third.
- Men’s Varsity II golf’s Plano ISD Tournament Series, Wednesday, Nov. 3 was canceled.

- Varsity football is going into their last district game of the season with a 6-3 record and a three-game winning streak.
- Varsity volleyball is going into the second/area round of the playoffs with a 28-12 record.
- Varsity football will advance to the playoffs, no matter the outcome of Friday’s game.
