Eagle Brief: Feb. 8-12

As she prepares to hit a forehand, senior Brooke Hallauer keeps her eye on the ball. The team played in the Rock Hill Invitational tournament and competed against teams from the surrounding areas. Next week, the team competes in the McKinney two-day tournament Feb. 12-13.

School is Closed

Stuff The Bus will accept donations Feb. 8-11.
The Prosper Education Foundation will accept scholarship applications until Feb. 24.
Seniors with early release fourth period are invited Feb. 10 to meet at the Children’s Health Stadium at 2:45 p.m. to make an appearance in the Black History Month Virtual Assembly video. Complete the form by Feb. 8 to sign up.
The month of February is Black History Month. Stay tuned for articles and podcasts focusing on the history and meaning.

Grace Williamson is the 2020-2021 Editor-in-Chief of Eagle Nation Online. This is her third year on the school newspaper, and she was previously the 2019-2020 sports editor. She plans to strengthen the newspaper as a team, and help promote brilliant reporting and coverage this year. Following graduation, she plans to major in criminal justice at a currently undecided college. Caroline Wilburn, Sports Editor

Caroline Wilburn, a senior, has lived in Prosper, Texas, since 2010. This is her second year on staff, and she holds the position of sports editor this year. In addition, she serves on the editorial board for Eagle Nation Online. Outside of school, she enjoys spending time with friends, family and her dogs. She also plays for the varsity tennis team and looks forward to combining her love for sports and journalism together.
