Eagle Brief: Jan. 11-15

Standing beside their entries, members of the Prosper FFA chapter show off their winnings. FFA members competed on Friday, Jan. 8, at the Collin County Livestock Show in both floral arrangement competitions and plant growing competitions. Several students took home ribbons, including junior Brooke Black who in addition to winning first place in the symmetrical silk arrangement competition, also won reserve champion of the entire show.

  • Next week, in honor of Martin Luther King Jr. Day Jan. 18, Monday will be a district holiday with no school for teachers and students.
  • Stuff the bus is coming up from Feb. 8-11.
