PCIS symposium helps students explore career interests
The Prosper Career and Independent Study program held its annual business symposium for students in the Prosper and Rock Hill programs Oct. 20 at 8:15 a.m in the community center of the PISD Children’s Health Stadium. Students virtually interviewed professionals from a variety of careers and received the opportunity to learn more information about their career interests. The Prosper program is taught by Tiffany Ballard, and the Rock Hill program is taught by Coshari Chacchia. Students interested in joining the program can apply toward the end of each school year to join the following year’s program.
Your donation will support the student journalists of Prosper High School. Your contribution will allow us to purchase equipment and cover our annual website hosting costs.

During this class, the group played the game ‘imposter’ to bond. “I think Hope Squad is such a good class and such a good program to not only teach [mental health awareness] to the kids that are in the class, but also to push that out to any and everybody else,” Alford said. “What better way for people to hear about it than from their peers?”](https://eaglenationonline.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/11/IMG_0008-1-600x400.jpeg)
