Coming up from his dive into his lane, Hayden Jestes breaks out with the first 50-yard butterfly leg. Jestes, a senior, competes on the varsity team. He competed in the 200 individual medley event.

As he prepares on the block for his 50-yard freestyle race, Mithuun Ramesh listens for the starting buzzer. Ramesh swam a 23.38 in the 50-yard freestyle race. Ramesh also swam the 200-yard medley, 100-yard butterfly and 200-yard freestyle relay.
