Local businesses seek seasonal hires

Burlington – Prosper – Burlington used to go by the name Burlington Coat Factory but changed its name when the company began expanding products to provide more sportswear, activewear, and clothing for children.

Five Below – Prosper – Five Below is a discount store that sells products up to $10; also Five Below no longer changing their name to Ten Below. Products vary through the seasons to attract their target demographic of children and teenagers.

Nordstrom – Frisco – A fashion retail store that provides private labeled attire spanning from men, women, and children. 

DICK’s Sporting Goods – Prosper – Through the store itself and their online shop, DICK’s Sporting Goods supports brand name apparel and equipment for sports and fitness.

Kirklands – Prosper – A furniture store that also provides products such as fabrics and other accessories across 37 states.

LUCKY BRAND – Frisco – Known for their jeans, LUCKY BRAND sells clothing fit for all ages and sizes.

Miss A – Frisco – Miss A sells beauty supplies to anyone willing to buy specifically labeled pet-friendly supplies as the establishment wants all of their accessories to be safe for everyone and everything.

Macy’s – Frisco – Apparel, furnishings, and cosmetics from the Macy’s brand along with other brands are sold online and in-store.

Sephora – Frisco – The French chain that has stores stretching to multiple countries provides cosmetics, skin, body, hair care, and fragrances.

Old Navy – Prosper – A family-friendly store that hopes to bring all types of clothing from different brands to every home.

Lush Handmade Cosmetics – Frisco – Lush Cosmetics brings handmade natural beauty products to customers from every store. 

Big Lots! – Frisco – In the 47 states that Big Lots! resides in, affordable products, stretching from necessities such as food to crafts and home decor, is offered. 

Charlotte Russe – Frisco – Appealing to young-adult women, Charlotte Russe sells clothing at over 500 locations around the United States.

Best Buy – Frisco – Best Buy is known for selling technology products while also providing service. This is done through the on-site store, website, and mobile app. It operates through all of North America. 

IHOP – Plano and Frisco – The International House of Pancakes – a restaurant chain that concentrates on breakfast foods – also provides lunch foods. Almost all of the restaurants are franchised.

Jack in the Box – Frisco – A fast-food chain founded in San Diego, California with the iconic mascot Jack Box, who is, in fact, the founder and CEO of the restaurant.

Kroger – Prosper – The department store that sells a variety of products such as food, jewelry, and clothing.

Wingstop – Frisco – The aviation-themed restaurant that started as a small buffalo-style chicken wing outlet and is now known for dozens of flavors that are personally tossed.

Firehouse Subs – Frisco – Specialty subs, salads, and fresh chilies are only the crust of what Firehouse Subs provides as a systematic and dynamic restaurant that provides seasonal jobs.

Ulta Beauty – Prosper – Ulta Beauty retail specializes in beauty products that include fragrances, skin/ hair care, and much more in a homey environment that has a main demographic of young adults and teenagers. The store averages almost $50 every basket. 

Chili’s – Prosper – American food that has a restaurant chain spread throughout the U.S. and foreign countries, Chili’s has an almost Tex-Mex style of cooking and even has a location at Gates of Prosper.

Texas Roadhouse – Prosper – The western-themed restaurant that offers limitless rolls and peanuts with shells scattered across the floor, known for their steak and ribs is looking for workers this holiday season.

Barnes & Noble – Frisco – The largest bookseller in the world, Barnes & Noble includes educational and digital products within the massive content of print books ranging a variety of genres.
