7 state finalists from DECA competition

State finalists from the DECA Competition.

Over 2,000 students, including the Business and Marketing Club, participated in DECA, the District Career Development Conference at Haltom High School last weekend. Seven students qualified for state finals.
McKensie Haslett and Sateera Rumph – Qualified for state finals for the 3rd time
Matthew Boostrom and Jasmine Willis – Qualified for state finals for the second time
Pablo Arango, Ben Duren, and Cole Pettis – Qualified for state finals for the first time
Ryan Porter and Josh Laufhutte also competed for the first time.
